THE STUDIO / INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN
A person behind every project.
Digital Mind Pulse is the digital studio of Mike Laffin: an independent builder working across websites, software and automation.
Practical problems. Creative thinking.
Mike’s work connects digital ideas with everyday needs: organizing field-work details in JobPad for Rome Land Services, making Wisconsin outdoor information easier to explore with WisFishCamp, and building focused tools for reviewing data.
That range is the point. A useful solution might be a clear website, a small internal tool, or a connection between the systems you already use. The project starts with understanding the work.
Direct collaboration.
You work with Mike on the scope, decisions and delivery. Communication can happen remotely and asynchronously, with a written plan and clear review points.
Modern tools. Human responsibility.
AI-assisted development can help explore ideas and build faster. The finished work still needs considered design, review, testing, and an understandable handoff. Those responsibilities stay with the studio.
A GOOD PLACE TO START
What could work
better for you?
A new website. A tool you wish existed. A process that takes too long.
